PEYOTE COYOTE TOUR KICKOFF
Psychedelic rock trio Peyote Coyote is hitting the road on their first tour of the Southeast this March. Hitting cities like Savannah, Charleston and Asheville, the band looks to be on the road for 12 days to create buzz for their upcoming release, “Microdos.”
Guitarist and vocalist Ryan Huseman, bassist Jake Stuart and drummer Cari Gee say they draw their influences from an array of music, past and present. From the likes of The Doors, The Beatles, Band of Horses and The Black Angels, the group creates a hypnotic blend of old and new psychedelia.
The group released its debut self-titled EP in April of 2016, which Hype Machine music blogger Mad Mackeral describes as “a swirling, heady mix of retro-psychedelia, garage rock, and fuzzed-up pop that is a real treat.” The second installment in their discography, “Microdos,” is set to be officially released this spring.
“Peyote Coyote” is available to stream and purchase on Bandcamp as well as most streaming platforms (including Spotify and Apple Music). Preview the show with this live video performance of their song “Evil Things.”
Fans of psych and garage can enjoy the ‘60s revival sounds of Peyote Coyote in Miami on March 1 at Kill Your Idol and in West Palm Beach on March 2 at Respectable Street.
